Minneapolis Shoreline Landscaping Intervention Provides An Opportunity For Family Gathering.
Located in Coon Rapids, a northern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota on the Mississippi River, this modern residential Minneapolis landscaping project includes a shoreline stabilization system and gathering/entertainment space. It was important to the client that the gathering space did not impede views of the river from the house. With this in mind, the decision was made to nestle the deck and patio into the brow of the river bluff. The stabilization system utilizes a combination of hard-armor toe protection and deep rooted native plantings.
